And as we know, the environmental consequences of plastic production include not only pollution, but also significant greenhouse gas emissions that exacerbate climate change.
It’s clear that addressing this issue requires collective effort and significant changes in individual behaviors. But more importantly, we need policy reforms aimed at curbing plastic production and waste. And we need them now.
