Civil lawsuits against big oil companies have been ramping up all over the world recently because of their polluting ways, but new surveys show that a rapidly growing number of likely voters want criminal charges brought against them as well. If the companies know their pollution is killing people, and they don’t do anything about it, shouldn’t they be charged with reckless or negligent homicide?
