STUDY: What if the Cost of Food Included a ‘Climate Fee’?

The study by the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) suggests that implementing a climate fee on food in Germany could effectively reduce agricultural greenhouse gas emissions by 22.5%, which is over 15 million tonnes annually.
